I really enjoyed my visit to this art museum. The main exhibit floor was divided into rooms, each dedicated to a different discipline: portraits, landscapes, seascapes, storytelling, and still life. Each room contained a mix of modern and older art. There was also a pop art exhibit which included eight of Andy Warhol’s Campbell Soup Cans.
A special exhibit, Dale Chihuly: Magic & Light, was the icing on the cake. I love Chihuly’s work, and I was not disappointed in the works on display. The exhibit has been at this museum since 2015, and I got lucky because it is set to close next month on March 27th.
Two other temporary exhibit spaces were closed as new exhibits were being set up. When I return to Oklahoma City I will make sure I return to visit this nice museum.
