I made several stops in Vermont, some of which don’t deserve their own page.
Cabot Cheese and Culture Festival - Cabot, VT - September 30, 2023
Harry's Hardware, the only hardware store in New England that has a bar in it.
Bragg Farm - Montpelier, VT - October 1, 2023
When in Vermont you have to have a creemee, or so I was told. They were good.
The line on Sunday afternoon to get a creemee.
Camping on the Battenkill Campground - Arlington, VT - October 3 - 6, 2023
Sugar Shack - Arlington, VT - October 5, 2023
The Sugar Shack is a little road-side shop selling Maple Syrup and an assortment of other Vermont products. It is also home to The Norman Rockwell Exhibit. Rockwell lived in Arlington from 1939-1953 and the exhibit focuses on his work during that time. While there are no originals, the exhibit does highlight many of the 200 local people Rockwell used as models. It was interesting and worth the stop. Unfortunately, the lighting in the exhibit caused some issues with my photographs.
