MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS
255 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
“Exhibits spanning 4,000 years, including African art, European paintings & American photography.” Google
St. Petersburg’s Museum of Fine Art is nice museum with a sampling of many different styles of art. The day I visited it wasn’t very crowded so I could quickly peruse pieces that I wasn’t really interested in and then spend more time looking at those that I really liked.
Claude Monet and Georgia O’Keeffe were two of the more notable artists represented, though there were several works I liked in addition to theirs. A special exhibit of American quilts had some interesting pieces.
