EASTER LAKE COUNTY PARK
2830 Easter Lake Dr, Des Moines, IA
Another one of my “Go-To” places to try to take photographs is Easter Lake. I wasn't sure I'd see anything to photograph, but left overjoyed with the diversity of wildlife I was able to capture.
I am beginning to really enjoy the challenge of photographing birds, though I have a lot to learn yet. I have done my best to identify the birds.
The turtles were sunning in full force.
This squirrel and I shocked each other, but he never dropped what was in his mouth.

Almost missed this deer...got lucky he didn't scurry away before I could get my camera out.
