Before, during, and after the Food Tour I took in the sights on and around Beale Street. The music was wonderful and there were plenty of places to eat and drink, all of which looked fun.
At night and on weekends three blocks of Beale Street are blocked off to traffic.

Alfred's...Alfred is not the owner, but a pet monkey.
The monkey died and the owner had him stuffed and put it on display at the bar.
This used to be a gambling house that was the scene of more than one murder. It is now a police station.
