AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LIVE

Luxor Hotel & Casino, 3900 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119

"A celebration of comedy, music, danger, dance and so much more! Starring extraordinary acts from the hit TV franchise “America’s Got Talent” (AGT), the show performs five nights a week, at Luxor Theater. The 75-minute, fast-paced production will feature show-stopping moments ranging from thrill acts and magicians to vocalists and acrobats – all performed by many of the most revered alumni from the TV juggernaut.” – America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live

When I decided to visit Vegas, I knew I wanted to see “a show.”  There are so many to choose from, but when I saw “AGT Live” while scrolling through possible shows online, I knew this was the show I wanted to see.

Eight different acts performed in the fast-paced show.  The only act I didn’t remember was mentalist Peter Antoniou (Season 16), who also acted as host. If tonight’s performance was an indication, I understand why I don’t remember him.  The other acts all lived up to my memories of them on the show.  Light Balance (Season 12) opened the show, Ava Swiss (Season 17, the most current season) followed with a beautiful ballad.  Two thrill acts, Duo Transcend (Season 13) and Deadly Games (Season 11), wowed the audience with their dangerous stunts.  Lea Kyle (Season 16) wowed us with her quick-change skills, followed by Silhouettes (Season 6) whose shadow play dance to an encore performance by Ava Swiss was delightful.  But, the star of the show and audience favorite was Season 14 Champion, Cody Lee, who graced us with two songs.  It is easy to see why he was/is a champion.  Light Balance then gave an encore performance before everyone came on stage for the curtain call.

I don’t think I would have left any other show as happy as I did leaving this show.  It was a great choice.
